Karachi Waterfront is a bright new city for a bright new chapter in Karachi's history. The project is part of the Pakistani government's initiative to relieve pressure on Karachi and attract investment into the country. Port Grand is a recreational area built in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan along the waterfront of the 19th century Native Jetty Bridge. The bridge connects the Karachi Port Trust to Keamari. It’s a joint project of the Karachi Port Trust and a private company Grand Leisure Corporation. Port Grand was opened for public on May 28th of 2011. The complex is a hub of shopping, dining, cultural and coastal recreational activities in the city. Port Grand is located on Napier Mole Bridge which is very important and significant to the history of the city of Karachi and played a crucial and pivotal role in making Karachi what it is today.
Port Grand is a hidden gem near the waterfront in Karachi. It's a great place to spend a day with your loved ones, friends, or family. (21 Dec 2016) :Hundreds of members of Pakistan's Christian community took part in a celebratory pre-Christmas peace rally in downtown Karachi on Wednesday. A large truck with participants dressed as Santa Claus distributed Santa hats to those taking part, as well as passers-by. Karachi has a sizeable Christian minority. Members of the clergy and parishioners were also out in large numbers. The peace rally, which included prayers for peace and the prosperity of Pakistan, ended at Sea View - one of the most popular spots in Karachi on the city's waterfront.
